ARGENTINA: López Murphy and Macri launch political double act
It is unlikely that President Néstor Kirchner will be losing any sleep over it but he does finally have some opposition (from outside of the ruling Partido Justicialista at least) ahead of the legislative elections in October. On 25 May Ricardo López Murphy and Mauricio Macri, two centre-right candidates, officially launched their electoral alliance with one eye on the upcoming elections on 23 October and another on the presidential elections in 2007.
